The objective is to improve traditional storage solutions by developing an innovative package with the main goal of energy saving and extending the lifetime of the media. In contrast to conventional film cans, the packages will be equipped with the latest sensor \u0026amp; adsorption technology, to monitor decomposition processes and to adsorb decomposition products. A control software platform, based on predictive modeling, will simulate degradation processes and will alert of the risks on each material to provide the archivist advice on appropriate preservation decisions.
